Search Ongoing for Missing Man in Paoay, MDRRMO Leads Operation

LAOAG CITY – The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, is leading search efforts in collaboration with various government agencies to locate a missing man from Sitio Banitog, Barangay San Roque.

According to Engr. Jesus Bacena, head of the MDRRMO in Paoay, they have been actively coordinating with multiple government agencies to search for Bryan Carlo Bulong Judalena, a 30-year-old resident of the area with a live-in partner.

Judalena was reported missing on the night of September 30, 2024.

The MDRRMO immediately launched search and rescue operations after receiving the report.

Family members said they had previously evacuated together to a relative’s house.

However, Judalena mentioned that he had forgotten something at their former residence, prompting him to return alone.

Despite warnings from his family not to go back, Judalena insisted on returning.

It is believed that he may have lost his way, as he never arrived at his destination.

Bacena confirmed that the MDRRMO and other government agencies are doing everything they can to locate the missing individual.
