Whistleblower and accused Julie “Dondon” Patidongan has filed a complaint-affidavit with the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) against 14 current and former police officers allegedly involved in the abduction and killing of cockfighting enthusiasts.

Among those named is a retired Lieutenant General who previously served as chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

In a press conference after submitting his complaint, Patidongan claimed that the officers cited in his affidavit facilitated the disappearance of sabungeros who were reportedly taken to a farm leading to Taal Lake.

NAPOLCOM Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer Atty. Rafael Vicente Calinisan said the officers will face administrative charges for grave misconduct and conduct unbecoming of police personnel.

Calinisan added that a resolution on Patidongan’s complaint is expected within two months.

Retired Police Lieutenant General Jonnel Estomo was among the officers named by Patidongan, who alleged that Estomo, as an “alpha” group member, suggested his execution to Atong Ang.

Patidongan also claimed that the alpha group was composed of three factions dividing ₱70 million in monthly e-sabong revenue.

He further alleged that some officers involved in the case were also connected to drug war killings.

Reports revealed that three of the named officers had already been dismissed from service.

Previously, 15 police officers were placed under restrictive custody at Camp Crame, Quezon City, after Patidongan linked them to the missing sabungeros.
