Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his four co-accused—Enteng Canda, Sylvia Cemanes, Jaclyn Roy, and Ingrid Canada—entered a ‘not guilty’ plea during their arraignment at Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 for charges related to child and sexual abuse.

The arraignment was conducted online at 1:00 PM, unlike the earlier arraignment held at Pasig RTC Branch 159, which Quiboloy and the four accused attended in person.

According to Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Mark Tolentino, the charges filed in the QC RTC are bailable. Tolentino also indicated that their camp is considering the possibility of posting bail.

Earlier in the day, Quiboloy’s camp also entered a ‘not guilty’ plea at the Pasig RTC for the qualified human trafficking case.

Tolentino emphasized that they plan to file a petition for bail in the human trafficking case as well, arguing that it can only be considered non-bailable if there is strong “evidence of guilt.”
