The president added that the investigation is already underway, and anyone found guilty of being involved in the incident will face the full force of the law. Marcos stressed that there is no place in the government for officials who prioritize personal interests over public service.

This statement comes in response to reports confirming that Guo, who is facing charges related to the operations of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO), has left the country. Guo’s current whereabouts have been traced to Southeast Asia, with the latest reports indicating she is in Indonesia after stops in Malaysia and Singapore.

As the investigation progresses, authorities are also coordinating with international counterparts to locate and bring Guo back to the Philippines to face the charges against her.
