PITX Cancels Multiple Bus Trips Due to Super Typhoon Uwan

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) announced the cancellation of multiple bus trips on November 9, 2025, as Super Typhoon Uwan continues to affect travel routes nationwide.

Routes bound for the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Mindoro, and parts of Northern Luzon were suspended due to storm signals and canceled port operations in Batangas, Matnog, Tabaco, and Pilar.

Bus operators including Ceres Transport, DLTB, Superlines, RORO Bus, Philtranco, Peñafrancia, Alps, and Solid North were among those that halted trips because of unsafe sea conditions and strong winds.

PITX also released updates on specific routes: Saulog Cavite City’s last trip was at 3:30 p.m., Naic at 4:30 p.m., while Laguna’s Sta. Cruz route continued normal operations but Balibago stopped at 11:30 a.m..

Limited trips were reported in Batangas and Lucena, while Olongapo’s Saulog stopped at 12:30 p.m. and Baguio trips ended at 11:30 a.m. San Jose, Nueva Ecija trips also stopped at 1 p.m..

PITX advised passengers to coordinate with their bus operators for rebooking or rescheduling and to monitor official announcements for further updates
