The Philippine Army has bolstered its territorial defense capabilities through the AFP Joint Exercise (AJEX) “DAGIT-PA,” concluded on November 15, 2024, at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
The eighth iteration of AJEX “DAGIT-PA” involved comprehensive training with the Philippine Air Force and Philippine Navy, focusing on the nation’s defense strategy.
The military exercise simulated Oplan “Bantay Kalayaan,” the armed forces’ territorial defense plan, involving joint operations among soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines.
Training encompassed Joint Military Operations, Counter-Landing Operations, and Special Forces Operations, enhancing inter-service collaboration.
The exercise aimed to refine tactics, techniques, and procedures to prepare forces for the Comprehensive Archipelagic Defense Concept (CADC).
By engaging in these drills, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) aims to improve readiness and responsiveness for territorial defense missions.
