PBBM Urges Filipinos to Vote Wisely, Uphold Democracy Ahead of 2025 Elections

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has called on all Filipino voters to vote wisely 2025 elections, encouraging them to choose candidates who demonstrate both competence and compassion.

The President delivered the message on the eve of the May 12, 2025 midterm elections, addressing the nation through a video posted on his official social media channels.

He reminded citizens that voting is both a right and a duty and emphasized its role as a platform for expressing aspirations toward a better Philippines.

President Marcos appealed to the public to exercise their right to vote responsibly and safeguard the integrity of the country’s democratic process.

He acknowledged the diversity of political opinions among Filipinos but stressed that differing beliefs are an essential part of democracy.

He further urged that political differences should not lead to disorder or intimidation, underscoring the importance of mutual respect during the electoral process.

The President also called for national unity to ensure an orderly and peaceful election.

Around 70 million registered voters are expected to cast their votes in tomorrow’s polls, marking a significant moment in the country’s democratic journey.

President Marcos concluded his message with an appeal for cooperation among all sectors to uphold a clean, peaceful, and fair election.
