Passport of Zaldy Co Cancelled; Sara Discaya Remains in NBI Custody

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has officially cancelled the passport of Zaldy Co following directives from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The cancellation was confirmed after Co was implicated in ongoing investigations related to alleged irregularities in government transactions.

Meanwhile, Sara Discaya continues to remain under the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) as part of the same probe.

President Marcos Jr. emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring accountability and transparency in handling the case.

Authorities clarified that the cancellation of Co’s passport is a preventive measure to restrict his travel abroad while investigations are ongoing.

The NBI stated that Discaya’s detention is in line with due process and legal procedures, ensuring that her rights are respected throughout the investigation.
