OPM band IV of Spades makes surprise comeback after five years

IV of Spades is back!

After a five-year hiatus, the OPM band, best known for their hit song “Mundo”, has dropped a surprise new single entitled “Aura.”

The comeback features Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, Badjao de Castro, and Unique Salonga, who left the band in 2018 to pursue a solo career.

In 2020, the remaining members announced that they would be taking a break to pursue personal interests.

As of writing, the music video for “Aura” has reached 1 million views on YouTube in just under 19 hours after its release.

The group has been widely talked about and trended overnight, with fans celebrating the long-awaited reunion.

Among their accomplishments, IV of Spades has been nominated for several local awards and was even nominated for Best Southeast Asia Act at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards.
