DSWD Regional Director Lucia Alan said most of the evacuees came from Isabela, followed by Quirino, Cagayan, and Nueva Vizcaya.

Meanwhile, 81 passengers were stranded in Basco, Batanes after flights were canceled due to the typhoon.

Alan noted that the number of evacuees is expected to rise, particularly in high-risk areas where forced evacuations were implemented.

Rescue and response teams in each province, supported by local government units, police, and volunteer groups, remain on standby to ensure safety and smooth operations in evacuation centers.
