The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has filed multiple complaints against dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, following the discovery that her signature on a notarized counter-affidavit in her human trafficking case was falsified.

NBI Director Jaime Santiago confirmed that complaints of falsification by a notary public, use of falsified documents, perjury, and obstruction of justice have been filed against Guo and her attorney, Atty. Elmer Galicia, who notarized the affidavit.

According to NBI Task Force Alice Guo head agent Palmer Mallari, handwriting analysis revealed that someone else signed Guo’s counter-affidavit.

The analysis compared Guo’s specimen signatures from official documents in Bamban, Tarlac, with the signature on the notarized affidavit.
