Motorcycle Crash Leaves Rider Dead After Collision with Truck

A male motorcycle rider was pronounced dead after colliding with a truck at 2:55 p.m. in Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.

According to initial reports from the La Trinidad Traffic Office, an Isuzu Elf truck traveling from Km5 to Palmaville was involved in the fatal accident.

While navigating a curved section of the road, the rider’s Suzuki Raider 150 suddenly shifted into the left lane and hit the left side of the truck.

The truck driver reportedly attempted to evade the impact, but the speed of the motorcycle led to a collision.

Responders from the BFP La Trinidad rushed the victim to Benguet General Hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival due to severe head trauma.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, who is believed to be a resident of Paniqui, Tarlac, pending notification of family members.

The truck driver was brought to the La Trinidad Police Traffic Office for further investigation.
