A 64-year-old woman in Thailand miraculously survived a two-hour encounter with a 4-meter-long python in Phra Samut Chedi district.

The terrifying incident occurred late one evening as Arrom Arunroj, the victim, was washing dishes outside her home after dinner around 8:30 PM.

The snake, weighing approximately 20 kilograms, bit her on the foot without warning. Despite her efforts to shake it off, the python coiled tightly around her, overpowering her strength.

Arrom’s screams for help went unheard until 10 PM, when a neighbor finally noticed her distress and alerted local authorities.

Rescuers arrived and managed to remove the snake after a grueling 30-minute effort.

The elderly woman sustained bite wounds and was physically exhausted after the prolonged struggle.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

While pythons are non-venomous, their bites can still cause dangerous infections. Arrom is currently recovering in the hospital.
