Marcos, nagbirong kasali si FL Liza sa Cabinet shakeup

May biro si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. nitong Huwebes na kabilang ang kanyang maybahay, si First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta Marcos, sa mga pagbabago sa Gabinete.

Sa kanyang talumpati sa 2025 Bagong Bayani Awards, binanggit ni Marcos na madalas bumibiyahe si FL Liza sa Europa upang tumulong sa mga programa ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

“She has become our ambassador now for migrant workers, it’s your new designation. ‘Di ba magka-Cabinet shakeup tayo? So kasama ka na doon…” biro ni Marcos habang nagpapatuloy sa talumpati.

Ang pahayag ay kasunod ng mga kamakailang pagbabago sa Gabinete:

  • Lucas Bersamin pinalitan ni Finance Secretary Ralph Recto bilang Executive Secretary
  • Amenah Pangandaman pinalitan ni Budget Undersecretary Rolando Toledo bilang Budget Secretary

Itinanggi ni Bersamin na siya’y nagbitiw, taliwas sa pahayag ni Palace Press Officer Claire Castro na ang dating executive secretary ay nag-resign “dahil sa delicadeza.”
