Without hesitation, he repeatedly stabbed the victim.

The suspect and tricycle driver escaped immediately, and the stabbed man’s brother attempted to track them down. He claimed to have overtaken the motorist who had delivered the minor suspect.

However, the suspect arrived quickly and pointed a knife at the victim’s brother, so the two fled.

During a follow-up operation, authorities tracked down the minor at a cemetery in Sta. Cruz, while the suspect was arrested in Barangay 372, where they recovered the knife used in the crime.

It was revealed that the victim had been involved with the suspect’s partner, which the suspect had discovered last year.

The suspect told police that his wife had been unfaithful while he worked as a construction worker in Rizal.

Although the couple had reconciled, the victim allegedly provoked the suspect whenever they encountered each other, which police believe could have led to the attack.

The victim is now recovering from multiple stab wounds to his shoulders and armpits.
