House Quad Committee Issues Show Cause Order Against Mylah Roque, Wife of Atty. Harry Roque

A show cause order has been issued by the House Quad Committee against Mylah Roque, wife of former presidential spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque.

The committee is seeking an explanation from Mrs. Roque regarding her repeated failure to attend hearings on the illegal operations of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).

The order was pushed by Abang Lingkod Party-list Rep. Joseph Stephen Paduano, and the motion was immediately approved by Surigao del Norte 2nd District Rep. Robert Ace Barbers, who serves as the overall chairman of the Quad Committee.

Mrs. Roque had been invited several times to testify on her involvement in the lease agreement signed with Chinese nationals linked to an illegal POGO hub in Bamban, Tarlac.
