Generally fair but warm weather will prevail in the rest of the country.

The weather bureau has issued a warning for dangerous heat index levels in Metro Manila and Central Luzon due to the easterlies.

Cloudy skies with light to occasionally heavy rains are expected in Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Oriental, with possible effects on nearby areas.

Partly cloudy to overcast skies with warm temperatures will dominate the rest of the country, although localized thunderstorms may still occur.

The Amihan (Northeast Monsoon) is expected to return later this week, although it is gradually weakening, signaling the onset of the dry season.

No new tropical cyclones are expected to directly affect the country in the next five days.
