Father of Child Drowned in Sto. Domingo Found Dead Near Shoreline

The body of a father who drowned with his minor child has been found along the shoreline in Calay-ab, Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur.

According to Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Officer Rhon Arquelada, the remains of Rowell Morondoz Paat, 37, a resident of Quezon City, were discovered around 9:00 AM today near the same location where his child’s body had been found.

Reports indicate that the father and his child went missing on September 28, 2024, while celebrating along the beach.

Unfortunately, they were swept away by the waves and both drowned.
