Engineer Dies After Motorcycle Accident in San Manuel, Isabela

CAUAYAN CITY – A motorcycle rider was declared dead on arrival at the hospital after being run over by a vehicle in Barangay District 3, San Manuel, Isabela.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Cauayan, PMaj Jojo Turingan, Chief of Police of San Manuel Police Station, identified the victim as Engineer Emerson Fernandez, a resident of District 3, San Manuel, Isabela.

According to their investigation, Fernandez was on his way home, while the suspect, Dr. Christian Sok-ang, was on his way to work in Santiago City.

Upon reaching the national highway in Barangay District 3, Fernandez’s motorcycle accidentally skidded, causing him to be struck and run over by Sok-ang’s vehicle.

The suspect has been arrested, but the PNP is still conducting a backtracking investigation using CCTV footage in the area to identify the driver and the plate number of another vehicle that was reportedly with the victim before the accident.
