The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a warning to the public regarding the sale of unregistered mpox vaccines by certain individuals and groups.

Reports have surfaced that imported vaccines for mpox are being sold illegally in the country.

According to the DOH, these vaccines may have entered the Philippines without proper authorization and have not been verified for safety or effectiveness.

Additionally, they emphasized that these vaccines must be stored under proper cold-chain handling conditions to ensure their efficacy.
