Decomposing Body of Unidentified Man Found in San Fabian River

An unidentified body in San Fabian river was discovered lifeless and partially decomposed in the waters of Barangay Colisao, San Fabian, Pangasinan.

According to the initial police investigation, the body was found lying face down in a rocky section of the river with flowing water.

The male victim was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and gray shorts at the time of discovery.

He was described as heavyset, estimated to be between 40 to 50 years old, and approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall.

San Fabian Police duty officer Plt Fidel Mejia stated that drowning is a possible cause of death, but clarified that investigations are still ongoing to determine the exact cause.

A medical examination ruled out any foul play in the man’s death.

Authorities have not yet established the victim’s identity, and no individuals have come forward to claim or recognize the body.

In response, the San Fabian Police have issued a flash alarm to neighboring towns and cities to report the body’s discovery.

As of now, the remains are being held at Funeraria Ibasan in Dagupan City.

Police are encouraging the public to contact their station at 0998-598-5125 if they have any information that could help identify the deceased.
