Bird Believed to Be Baby Eagle Found in Davao De Oro

A bird, suspected to be a baby eagle, was captured on video in Davao De Oro on the afternoon of October 9, 2024, around 5:00 PM.

A netizen posted the video on social media, stating they were surprised to find the bird after noticing something had fallen near the municipal hall.

However, the bird was immediately rescued by personnel from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and was promptly endorsed to the City ENRO.

The Philippine Eagle Foundation is expected to retrieve the bird soon to determine its species and ensure proper care.
