The BI launched the operation in coordination with the Philippine Navy and the Philippine National Police after receiving a tip regarding the presence of undocumented foreign workers in the area.

Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado commended the arrest and emphasized that all foreign nationals in the country are expected to comply with local laws.
