The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), along with the Bureau of Immigration (BI) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, led the arrest of Meizhu.

Pan, a Chinese citizen, may face charges similar to those of former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, including human trafficking and money laundering.

PAOCC Executive Director Gilbert Cruz stated that Pan worked directly under Walter Wong Long, Guo’s co-accused.

Cruz added that they are still investigating other potential charges against Pan. Pan is currently in PAOCC custody.
