Acting Commander of APCWM paid visit to JTF Central

The Acting Commander of the Area Police Command, Western Mindanao, Police Major General Bernard Banac, paid a formal visit to the 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division headquarters at Camp Siongco, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte on September 11, 2024.

Police Major General Banac was greeted with military honors upon his arrival and was warmly welcomed by Major General Antonio Nafarrete, Commander of 6th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Central, along with other key officers of the Command.

The visit highlighted a strong commitment in enhancing inter-agency coordination between the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Army, reinforcing their unified efforts to address security challenges and maintaining peace in the region.

Police Major General Banac, a distinguished member of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1992, held several key positions before his appointment as Acting Commander of the Area Police Command, Western Mindanao.

His previous roles include Chief of the PNP Public Information Office, PNP Spokesperson, Director of the Special Action Force, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 8 (Eastern Visayas), and Director of the Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management.
