The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) confirmed that all six personnel aboard the Super Huey helicopter that crashed in Loreto, Agusan del Sur on November 4, 2025, have been found dead.

The Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) coordinated the search and rescue operations, which led to the recovery of the bodies by troops from the 60th Infantry Battalion. The crash site was secured to prevent further hazards and to facilitate investigation.

The identities of the victims have not yet been publicly released pending notification of their families. The Philippine Air Force (PAF) stated that the helicopter was part of a four-aircraft deployment conducting Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) missions across the Caraga region.

Initial reports suggest the crash may have been influenced by adverse weather conditions, although a formal investigation is underway to determine the exact cause.

Residents near the crash site reported seeing burnt wreckage and personal belongings, with some eyewitnesses capturing images of the scene
