Breakout singer-songwriter and Gen-Z sensation Alex Warren has released his new album ‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid’. The release is accompanied by a cinematic new music video for the album’s poignant focus track, “Eternity”.
‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid’ features all the songs on ‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1)’ and 11 brand new songs. Amongst these new tracks are Warren’s chart-topping global hits “Ordinary”, “Bloodline (with Jelly Roll)” and “On My Mind (with ROSÉ)”. The album is largely co-written by Warren alongside Cal Shapiro and Mags Duval, with production led by Adam Yaron. While You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1)’ delved into themes of grief and loss, ‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid’ turns the page—marking a new chapter defined by healing, resilience, and hope.
A poignant and powerful ballad, “Eternity” unfolds over expansive production, capturing the ache of longing and the human desire for something enduring. Warren’s raw, unfiltered vocal delivery brings a striking emotional clarity to the track, while lush, atmospheric instrumentation and melancholic melodies create a hauntingly beautiful and immersive listening experience.
Packed with raw vulnerability, soaring melodies, and intimate storytelling, ‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid’ marks Warren’s evolution from viral creator to a fully realised artist with a powerful voice and vision. The album blends introspective songwriting with his signature pop sound, capturing the complexities of youth, love, and self-discovery in a way that resonates deeply with his generation.
Warren’s earth-shattering hit “Ordinary” was released in February to rave reviews, amassing almost 1 billion streams to date and topping the charts. The track currently holds the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for a sixth consecutive week, while also topping the Spotify Global Top 50 and Billboard Global 200. It marks Warren’s first Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and #1, making him the first male soloist in 2024 to debut at the top of the chart. On TikTok, the song has sparked over 659,000 user-generated videos, with more than 1 billion streams on Spotify and 71 million views on YouTube—cementing its viral impact across platforms. In Southeast Asia, it also peaked at #16 on the official Singapore RIAS chart.
