The camp of Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Apollo Quiboloy has reiterated the conditions for his surrender. According to Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Israelito Torreon, there must be a written declaration from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ensuring that Quiboloy will not be handed over to the United States, where he also faces several charges.

Torreon emphasized that this written guarantee is all they are waiting for, to ensure Quiboloy’s security. The lawyer stressed that their demand is in accordance with what the law provides. This has been their consistent request from President Marcos.

Quiboloy is facing multiple charges in both the Philippines and the United States, including fraud, coercion, sex trafficking of children, marriage fraud, visa fraud and misuse, bulk cash smuggling, promotional money laundering, concealment money laundering, and international promotional money laundering.

Previously, President Marcos assured that any proceedings involving Quiboloy would be fair, dismissing the demand for surrender conditions as unnecessary.

Since April, Quiboloy has not been seen following the issuance of arrest warrants by courts in Pasig and Davao.
