The state weather bureau is currently monitoring two low-pressure areas (LPAs) as of 8 a.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

The first LPA inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) was located 440 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.

Meanwhile, the second LPA was spotted outside PAR, about 2,145 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.

According to the weather bureau, the likelihood of these systems developing into a tropical storm is low.
