VP Sara Duterte Honors Filipino Reservists During National Reservist Week Celebration

Vice President Sara Duterte paid tribute to Filipino reservists for their vital role in ensuring national security as the National Reservist Week commenced.

In a statement on Saturday, VP Duterte highlighted the readiness, dedication, and sacrifices of Filipino reservists, especially during times of terrorism and crises, which provide security and peace in communities.

The Vice President also emphasized the bravery and commitment of reservists, stating that their service is crucial in strengthening the nation’s defense.

VP Sara, who holds the rank of colonel in the Philippine Army Reserve Command under the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), commended their patriotism.

This year’s theme for National Reservist Week is “Strength of the Reservists for a New Philippines,” focusing on the dedication and patriotism of AFP reservists.
