The United States is planning to file an extradition request for Apollo Quiboloy.
However, Philippine Ambassador to the United States Babe Romualdez stated that the country will initially allow the Philippine government with the legal issues raised in its lawsuit.
According to Romualdez, the US has also indicated interest, however, it has been respected because of the Marcos administration’s prior declarations that Quiboloy will face the charges in the Philippines, and the US may allow his case to go here within the country.
However, Romualdez emphasized that the US’s desire to face Quiboloy in his cases in that country would not be lost or diminished.
He stated that the US government will likewise file the extradition request in due time.
Some of Quiboloy’s recorded cases in the United States, according to the leaked FBI poster on its most wanted list, are as follows:
Conspiracy to Engage in Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud and Coercion; Sex Trafficking of Children; Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, and Coercion; Conspiracy; and Bulk Cash Smuggling.
