Unidentified Woman’s Body Found on Minglanilla Beach

MINGLANILLA, CEBU – Police in Minglanilla are currently investigating the discovery of an unidentified elderly woman’s body found on the shores of Lower Calajoan in Minglanilla, southern Cebu.

Local authorities reported that the body was discovered between 6 and 7 AM on September 20, 2024.

A fisherman was the first to spot the body and immediately alerted the police.

The victim, described as being between 50-60 years old, was wearing a violet sleeveless shirt, red shorts, and sky blue crocs slippers.

Police believe that the body may have been carried by the current, as no one in the nearby barangays recognized her.

As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown.

Police are urging anyone with information or who may have a missing family member to come forward.

The body is currently at the Minglanilla District Hospital morgue.
