Two Men Arrested in PNP Buy-Bust Operation in Tabuk City

Two men were arrested in a Philippine National Police (PNP) buy-bust operation in Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga, after allegedly selling illegal drugs to an undercover operative.

One of the suspects was a farmer from Nambaran, Tabuk City, while the other was a resident of Tulgao West, Tinglayan, Kalinga.

Authorities confiscated six bricks of suspected marijuana weighing approximately six kilograms, one large heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu, one small heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu, and one small heat-sealed plastic sachet with shabu residue.

Also recovered were one genuine one-thousand-peso bill, 29 pieces of fake one-thousand-peso bills used as boodle money, and a motorcycle allegedly used by the suspects.

The inventory of confiscated items was conducted in the presence of the suspects, a Department of Justice (DOJ) representative, media personnel, and a barangay official from Bulanao, Tabuk City.

The suspects and the seized evidence were brought to the Kalinga Police Provincial Office for proper documentation and legal proceedings.
