The state weather bureau is currently monitoring two low-pressure areas (LPAs) as of 8 a.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Meanwhile, the second LPA was spotted outside PAR, about 2,145 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.

According to the weather bureau, the likelihood of these systems developing into a tropical storm is low.

However, most parts of the country are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat.”
