Tragic Domestic Dispute Ends in Death of Live-In Couple

GENERAL SANTOS CITY – A live-in couple was found dead in their residence in Lansang village, Lagao, yesterday.

Neighbors reported hearing a violent argument between the pair, leading to a physical altercation.

The incident occurred around 2 PM on October 6, 2024, and is currently under investigation by Lagao police.

The female victim was identified as Rebecca Campon, a resident of Datal Batong, Malungon, Sarangani Province, while her partner was identified as Reymond Pagtulon-an, a mechanic from Lanao del Sur.

Reports indicate that the couple had ongoing relationship problems that often resulted in disputes.

It was the neighbors who discovered the couple unresponsive inside their home.

Authorities revealed that family members have arrived at the funeral home to arrange for the retrieval of the bodies.
