Three Motorcycle Riders Injured in Collision with Bus in Ilocos Sur

Three individuals riding a motorcycle sustained minor injuries following a collision with a bus along the national highway in Barangay Las-ud, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.

The motorcycle driver was identified as Gerome Paz Lorenzana, with passengers Eurique Gabriel David and Christopher Tapño Collado Jr., all 19 years old and residents of Barangay Magsaysay, Tagudin.

The driver of the Partas bus involved in the collision was identified as Jaypee Ascaño Camaddo, 41, from Barangay Pong-ol, Vigan City.

According to authorities, the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when the motorcycle veered into the bus’s lane at a curved section of the highway, causing the collision.

The impact threw the riders off the motorcycle, resulting in multiple injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities revealed that the motorcycle riders were under the influence of alcohol and were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
