The victims, identified as sisters aged 6, 8, and 12, were riding with their mother and stepfather when the incident happened.

Both parents survived the ordeal.

According to witnesses, the motorcycle lost its brakes, causing it to plunge into the swollen spillway.

The mother and stepfather managed to swim to safety, but the strong current carried the children away.
