Teen Shot Dead While Painting Vehicle in Datu Paglas

A teenager was killed on the spot after being shot in Barangay Poblacion, Datu Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur.

The victim was identified by police as Zehad Zuhod, a 22-year-old student and resident of the area.

Initial investigations revealed that Zuhod was painting a vehicle when a motorcycle-riding assailant suddenly approached and opened fire.

The gunman immediately fled in an unknown direction, leaving the victim lifeless at the scene.

According to those familiar with the teenager, the motive may be linked to “car swapping” and a potential conflict involving a woman.

The Datu Paglas Police are now conducting a thorough investigation to determine the suspect’s identity and the true motive behind the crime.
