Teen Girl Dies After Crashing Motorcycle Into Tree Following Argument With Boyfriend

A 16-year-old girl died after crashing her Honda Wave motorcycle into a narra tree in Barangay Mariquet, Solsona, Ilocos Norte.

According to Police Major Chris Anthony Sorsano, chief of the Solsona Municipal Police Station, the victim was a resident of Barangay Manalpac, also in Solsona.

Initial investigation revealed that the girl had come from a drinking session prior to the incident.

Major Sorsano explained that based on conversations with those who were drinking with the teen, she had an argument with her boyfriend for an undisclosed reason.

Due to the emotional distress caused by the dispute, the victim reportedly intentionally drove into the tree, which led to the fatal crash.

She sustained multiple injuries, including severe trauma to her head.

The victim was rushed to Piddig District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Major Sorsano also confirmed that the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
