Teen Boy Shot Dead by Employer After Drinking Session and Teasing

A minor who worked as a duck caretaker was shot dead by his employer in Barangay Santol, San Dionisio, Iloilo.

The victim, identified as alias Jose, 15, was allegedly killed by his employer, alias Pedro, 49, a farmer and resident of the same barangay.

According to Police Captain Edward Villanis, chief of the San Dionisio Municipal Police Station, the incident occurred during a drinking session between the victim and the suspect.

During the gathering, the suspect reportedly teased the victim by calling him “Alyas Black.”

The teenager got offended and challenged the suspect to a fight while wielding a knife.

The suspect then went home, retrieved his firearm, and shot the victim on both sides of the chest, with the bullets passing through his back.

After the incident, the suspect surrendered to authorities following persuasion from the village chief.
