SK Chairman Dies After Motorcycle Crashes Into Parked Vehicle

A Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman died after his motorcycle crashed into a parked vehicle in Ilagan City, Isabela.

According to Ilagan City Police Station spokesperson PCapt. Noralyn Andal, the victim was identified as Aerome Josh Cabalonga, a resident of Centro San Antonio, City of Ilagan.

Initial police investigation revealed that Cabalonga was traveling toward San Antonio Region when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a parked vehicle on the roadside.

The impact caused severe injuries, leading to his immediate death.

PCapt. Andal stated that the area was dimly lit and the parked vehicle had no warning signs, which may have contributed to the accident.

Authorities have reminded vehicle owners not to park along roadsides without proper warning signs to prevent similar accidents.
