Several artists and social media figures have also filed to run for councilor in the 2025 midterm elections.

Enzo Pineda, an actor, was accompanied by his girlfriend, actress Michelle Vito, and her mother when he filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for councilor in Quezon City’s Fifth District.

Enrico Pineda, Enzo’s father, is a former lawmaker from the 1-Pacman party.

Alfred Vargas, an actor, will seek for a second term as a councilor in Quezon City’s fifth district.

One of the noontime variety show hosts, Ion Perez, new to politics, will run for councilor in Conception, Tarlac, after being sworn in as a member of the Nationalist People’s Coalition led by Tarlac Governor Susan Yap.

Meanwhile, Rosmarie “Rosmar” Tan-Pamulaklakin, a content creator and beauty product owner, has registered an independent candidacy for councilor in Manila’s first district.

She first attempted to enter politics in 2022, running as a councilor in Manila’s fourth district but was defeated.
