Senior High School Student Shot Dead in Davao Region; Family Demands Justice

The family of a senior high school student in Panabo City, Davao Region, is demanding justice after the student was shot and killed by unidentified assailants in Purok 13, Barangay Manay.

Authorities are facing mounting pressure to apprehend those responsible for the heinous crime.

Police investigations revealed that the incident occurred around 7 p.m. while the victim was with classmates purchasing materials for a school project.

As the group was heading home, they were followed by armed men on motorcycles, with the suspects wearing jackets and bonnets.

The suspects, believed to be riding a Bajaj motorcycle, suddenly stopped in front of the students and robbed them of their cellphones before fatally shooting the victim.

The victim’s classmates managed to escape and seek help, while the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Police immediately launched a hot pursuit operation to track down the perpetrators.
