Self-Confessed Drug Lord, Files Candidacy as Independent Aspirant for 2025 Midterm Elections

TACLOBAN CITY – Roland Kerwin Espinosa, a self-confessed drug lord from Albuera, Leyte, has formally filed his candidacy for the upcoming 2025 Midterm Elections.

According to Chester Cañas, the Election Officer of Albuera, Espinosa submitted his Certificate of Candidacy as an independent candidate for the position of mayor.

Cañas noted that this is the first filing of candidacy for the mayoral position in the area.

Espinosa is expected to run against two other candidates for the mayorship in Albuera next year.

Cañas assured the public that security measures will be in place to ensure a peaceful and orderly environment during the candidacy filing period.
