Security Guard Stabbed by Tricycle Driver Over Alleged Affair with His Wife

A security guard is currently recovering in a hospital after being stabbed by a tricycle driver in Purok 4, Lubogan, Toril, Davao City, at around 10 AM.

Police identified the victim as Christopher, 33, a resident of Purok 3, Lubogan, Toril, Davao City.

The suspect was named Eddie, 37, a tricycle driver residing in Purok 6, Saypon, Crossing Bayabas, Toril.

According to a witness, the suspect approached the victim and stabbed him in the back without warning.

After committing the act, the suspect voluntarily surrendered to the police.

In his statement, Eddie admitted to stabbing Christopher after discovering that the security guard was allegedly having an affair with his wife.

The suspect claimed he had long suspected the affair and even read conversations between his wife and the victim.

The suspect is now in police custody, and authorities are preparing to file charges against him.
