Roque Slams PBBM Over Alleged Role in Infrastructure Corruption

Former Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque criticized President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for allegedly distancing himself from the flood control project anomaly and corruption within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

During his “Spox Hour” segment on Saturday, October 4, Roque claimed that the President is implicated in the controversy.

He cited the delivery of large sums of cash to the Aguado residence, located directly across Malacañang, as one of the strongest pieces of evidence.

This follows earlier revelations from a surprise witness, Master Sergeant Orly Regala Guteza, a former soldier and security consultant of resigned Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co.

Guteza testified that he personally delivered suitcases containing millions in cash—referred to as “trash”—to the residence of former House Speaker Martin Romualdez and the Aguado residence.

However, it is worth noting that President Marcos himself initiated an investigation into corruption in public infrastructure projects after uncovering billions lost to ghost projects and irregularities.
