Ako Bicol party-list Representative Zaldy Co denied allegations that he owns the RP-C5219 Gulfstream G550 aircraft used by former President Rodrigo Duterte to travel to The Hague for the International Criminal Court (ICC) proceedings.

Co emphasized that rumors linking him to the ICC and his alleged presence in The Hague are baseless. He clarified that he was in Rome for a personal meeting, having departed Manila on March 11 via Emirates Flight EK333 to Dubai, then proceeded to Rome on March 12 aboard Emirates Flight EK0097.

Co dismissed the claims as fake news, suggesting that certain individuals are targeting him and other lawmakers to divert public attention from the real issues.

The lawmaker, who previously served as chairperson of the House Committee on Appropriations, resigned from the post due to health reasons.
