The Quad Committee has issued summons to Alice Guo, Cassandra Li Ong, and former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque for a hearing slated for Thursday. The focus of the sixth hearing will be on the operations of illegal POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator) hubs.

Surigao del Norte Representative Robert Ace Barbers, chair of the Quad Committee, confirmed the invitation of the three individuals. The committee has requested permission from the Regional Trial Court Branch 282 in Valenzuela City, which has jurisdiction over Guo’s case, to allow her attendance. Guo, also known as Guo Hua Ping, is currently involved in ongoing legal proceedings.

Ong, who is currently in the custody of the House of Representatives, remains detained at the House detention facility.

Meanwhile, Roque remains at large after the Quad Committee ordered his arrest for failing to submit the required documents to prove his non-involvement in illegal POGO operations.

The Quad Committee has also requested the Bureau of Immigration to issue a hold departure order against Roque, considering him a fugitive from justice.

Barbers clarified that the committee’s invitation to former President Rodrigo Duterte still stands, citing his alleged involvement not only in POGO operations but also in extrajudicial killings.
