Regional Director Primo Lara announced that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and DAR Secretary Conrado Estrellia III may lead the ceremony, similar to previous distributions of land ownership awards in other regions.

Approximately 5,500 agrarian reform beneficiaries will receive their certificates during the event, as this is the maximum capacity of the venue.

The total debt owed by farmers to the Land Bank of the Philippines, amounting to P1.5 billion, has been canceled following a law signed by President Marcos.

Lara noted that the program has covered between 26,000 to 28,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries, encompassing 38,000 titles over 47,000 hectares of land.
