The President shared that he was scheduled to visit Ilocos yesterday, but heavy rains and worsening weather conditions prevented him from traveling.

He also warned that Typhoon Julian is expected to strengthen further, urging the public, especially those in the typhoon’s path, to stay vigilant.

Marcos emphasized that all concerned government agencies are on high alert and ready to respond to any needs that may arise due to the storm’s impact.

“Let’s all be careful. We are closely monitoring Typhoon Julian, and the government is prepared to provide assistance to our fellow citizens who may need help,” President Marcos said in his public address.
